Hello mate - would u mind telling me how I unlock the collections? It says I need to edit my kombat kard to unlock the collections but nothing happens - could someone help me out? For example the scarlet cold war skin/kollection -> found out i can do it via the charackter specific menu - is this the intended way? or should the collections also work?
You go to kollection, you unlock items, then u exit the card and restart the game.
@@thethiny im sorry - I don't fully understand - I understand how to unlock skins but what is the "Unlockables" tab for where u can select the cold war skarlet, kollector scorpion, ninja Mime Johnny cage and the cangaceiro kano skins? I did it like this : - Loaded the files like always - star mk11 and open kombat card -> click on edit - in the unlcoker I switched to unlockables tab -> skins - selected the 4 skins and clicked on unlock - it says I need to open kombat card and edit it - restart game But no skins is getting unlocked, the skarlet, scorpion Johnny cage and kano skins aren't unlocked and the only way I managed to unlock them is via the "Equipment" tab and not the "Unlockables" tab

Not sure you're still answering questions but, is it possible to have an unlocker PERMINANTLY unlock something to your save file? As much as I appreciate the file keeping something unlocked, it's slightly anxiety inducing to think about having to keep the unlocker file safe in case anything ever happens to it.
The unlocker already unlocks everything permanently. I don't understand your question.
@@thethiny Should you replace the unlocker with the original file, (say, if you delete and reinstall the game because you needed to save space, or you're moving PCs), the content will be locked again. It's merely a flag inside the code to tell the things to NOT be locked, as opposed to actually telling your save file "This is unlocked, for realsies". Basically if I were to re-install MK11 right now, because I used your method to boil potatoes, everything would still be there, that was saved to my save file. If I reinstalled MKX, I would need to find and re-install this unlocker again, which might not always be there in the future.
@@Pinkanator oh I see what you mean now. There isn't a way to do that cuz the save files are stored locally.
@@thethiny Yeah, that's what I've been struggling with. I've attempted to scour the "100% unlocked save file" vids and sites with no luck too so, yeah kind of awkward. Really hate they set things up this way.
@@Pinkanator you can copy the data from the unlocker file and paste it into your "save file" and then launch the game. The next time u close it it'll save to steam.
